Those that understand this simple fact, and work at their Network Marketing business with the seriousness, that a legitimate business demands, eventually find success.

Those that buy the line that Network Marketing is easy, and all you need is a great product or a great compensation plan, don’t make it in this business very long. These people often jump from company to company looking for the best plan or the best product, or the up and coming ground floor opportunity.

It is true that you have to believe in your product and your company, by all means, but that alone does not determine your success.

The promise of simplicity and duplication becomes a trap for a lot of people. If you hinge your success on a system or a program that someone else controls, you are setting yourself up for a rude awakening.

As network marketers we need to be aware that Network Marketing is a big industry, and catering to network marketers is a profitable business. Selling books, CD, brochures, and prefabricated websites to network marketers is a very good business.

It sure is easy to buy a generic website, where all you have to do is add your picture and some personal information. But the search engines do not recognize these site, and you can’t market it even if you wanted to.

What you end up with after months of investing on these Framing sites {Framing: Ads for web pages that replicate the look and feel of a parent site. Your site should not mirror (be similar or nearly identical in appearance to) your parent company or any other advertiser's site. } is more credit card debt, and very little or no new sign ups from your investment on the site.

Search engines seek unique, relevant content; and even the most poorly constructed site is going to get more traffic, than a site that has duplicated content or appearance.

In Network Marketing, just like in any other business, you are going to attract people to you, because of what real value you have to offer.

The more you invest in yourself the more valuable you become to others.

One common trait of those that achieve success is that they are constantly seeking greater knowledge and self-improvement.

The people with the most success in any endeavor are the people with the greater skill. It is true whether you are a surgeon or a plumber, why would people think it is any different if you are a Network Marketer.

If you are going to promise people that, by joining your opportunity they are going to achieve success; you need to possess the skills necessary to assist those that choose to join you in their quest for success.

You don’t have to know it all, but you need to know where to find the information when needed. You must have the willingness to acquire whichever skill is necessary to achieve your success and the success of your people.

An educated Internet Network Marketer can foresee the changes in marketing trends, knows where to find the information he needs to succeed, and most important of all, can lead his/her followers in the quest for success and self sufficiency.

While most readerships of Newspapers, and magazines has dropped, and viewership of commercial Television and radio is down, the average 18 to 34 year old spends 4.3 times more time on the internet than on the four latter combined.

One of their favorite things on the Internet besides social media is reading blogs.

Not corporate blogs, but blogs created by individuals. People in the Internet are interested in what average Joe has to say. I like to point out the uproar that “Joe the Plumber” caused in the last presidential campaign.

There is an Exodus taking place right now, people are flocking to the Internet for information, products, advice, and for business opportunity.

For those that can see this trend, the possibilities are endless but you have to be ready. You have to be prepared. It does not take a lot of time, but it does take effort.

I guess the question is:

The number of social websites has increased geometrically, for the savvy marketer they are a source of unlimited opportunities for income.

Unfortunately, just like the corporations misusing the social sites there have been many unscrupulous marketers that have used spamming techniques to try to line their pockets without regard to what their practices do to the integrity of the social site.

A perfect example of this is what has happened to myspace.com. Spammers, mostly populate this Social site, which has been responsible for the exodus of its members to other sites like facebook.

What is needed is Social Media Training

Recently Mike Dillard the Author of Magnetic Sponsoring sent a message to the members of his list and recommended to watch a video by Perry Belcher.

From this single email message it was generated an outstanding 18000 views for Perry's video, in just a few days.

Perry does and outstanding job of explaining how to use the social media sites to create a huge audience.
Well just this week Mike Dillard and Perry Belcher have come out with a Internet course, that promises to be awesome.

Perry is going to put four Webinars together and teach people how to create an audience using social media. Perry has over 8000 people following him on Twitter alone (I know, I am one of them) and he is also in facebook, digg, squidoo, and several other social sites.

I have been following Perry for a little while now and I can tell you that the guy is always providing value to his followers, so I am sure that his webinars are going to be packed full of useful information.

It does not matter, if you are a network Marketer, or a business owner of a traditional business, the social media sites are the wave of the future.

Are you ready to tackle the challenges that are coming your way? Do you have the knowledge necessary to create a presence on the Internet like the one Perry Blecher describes on his videos and classes?

Even if you are not very computer literate, there are programs such as the Renegade Univesity where you can quickly learn the basics, so you too can take advantage of the information that people like Perry and Mike put out.

Your parent company is not a good choice for Attraction Marketing.

On Attraction marketing you are interested on branding you, and the prospect identifying you as a leader the may want to follow.

One of those indispensable tools is a landing page, a blog or a website. If you building your business on a shoe string a blog or a landing page are your best options, they are free (with limited capabilities), or very inexpensive (with more functionality).

The other tool you need is an auto-responder, to keep in contanct with your prospects on a automated way.

I want you to understand that this is a business, and as a business you are going to have to invest on its growth. I am going to lead you in the direction that is most effective, and at the same time staying
with in a budget.

I expect you to invest on two things:

1. Your Internet presence (blog, landing page, auto-responder, website). You don't have to do all four at the beginning, but you are going to need to do at least two to start with.
2. Your business knowledge. You need to know more than the prospects you are going to be attracting, these people are coming to you because of your business "know how" and your leadership. I recommend one of two books: "Magnetic Sponsoring" by Mike Dillard, or "The Renegade Network Marketer" by Ann Sieg. I got started with Ann Sieg's book, it is very good if you are a beginner. At the same time you can sign up for the Renegade University. It is free and it will get you started with the marketing promotion part of the business.

Once you have the tools (landing page, auto-responder) you are going to need a target market. Read about how to brain storm and focus on you target market here.

I am going to give you two web sites to investigate, in one you can get a landing page started for free, and the second one is an Auto-responder the one that I use.

Blink Web is a site where you can get a landing page or a blog, I don't like their blog because it does not have all the tracking capabilities that you are going to need in the near future. But it is very good to get your landing page started, specially because you can get it for free, and once you feel comfortable with it you

Aweber is auto-responder. An auto-responder is essential for you to communicate with your prospects. You create campaigns and as your prospects give you permission to communicate with them, it starts
everybody through the mailing campaign with out you having to mail every one individually. You can try the mailing system for free, before you decide to get it. If instead of a landing page you are interested on a blog, I recomend the one I use. Square Space is a very functional blog that has all the tracking capabilities that you are going to need in the future. You can try it for free for 14 days.
