Building a Landing Page for Your Home Based Business

    Building Your First Landing Page.

The first thing you must have before you begin building your
    landing page is a purpose.

Your landing page must have a single purpose; it can be a landing
page designed to have your prospect give you his information, and
sign up for a newsletter, or it can have as its sole purpose to pre-sell
the prospect on your product and/or opportunity, but it cannot do
    both.

I have talked to you before about defining your target market, and
here in addition to identifying them you need to know what
specifically you want them to do once they arrive to your landing
    page.

With that in mind I like you to write down the content of your
landing page. We are not interested on form right now, I will give
you form on the next newsletter, we just want content here.

    1. In one line tell your prospect what is the benefit he/she is
going to get out of visiting your page, this is a attention grabbing statement.

    2. Create a Main Headline. You want to summarize the benefit you just listed on the statement above. Think Main Headline like the ones you see on the newspapers.

    3. Create an introductory paragraph. You are introducing them to the rest of your page with this statement.

    4. Create a subhead line, that involves the prospect with your
    headline.

    5. Bullet points, Follow the Sub-headline with a list the benefits the prospect is going to get from using your product or from joining your opportunity.

(you can repeat step 4 and 5 several times if you like, see sample template)

    6. Gather some testimonials, 1or 2 is a good number. Make the
testimonials short 3 to 5 sentences. You can also use video here.

    7. Summarize the benefits again on one or two sentences

    8. Call to action. Tell your prospect what he must do next.

Landing pages don’t have to be complicated as a matter of fact if
they are too busy they yield poor results.

Visit my website , or if you would like you can download a template,
to see what I am talking about.

Now you got your homework, the next time I am going to give you some more tips on the design of an effective Landing page.

But you need to start thinking about your content.

Until then, if you have any questions let me know.

Remember, I am here to help you in the road to becoming the leader
that you want to be, let me know how I can be of assistance.
