Building a Landing Page for Your Home Based Business

    Building Your First Landing Page.

The first thing you must have before you begin building your
    landing page is a purpose.

Your landing page must have a single purpose; it can be a landing
page designed to have your prospect give you his information, and
sign up for a newsletter, or it can have as its sole purpose to pre-sell
the prospect on your product and/or opportunity, but it cannot do
    both.

I have talked to you before about defining your target market, and
here in addition to identifying them you need to know what
specifically you want them to do once they arrive to your landing
    page.

With that in mind I like you to write down the content of your
landing page. We are not interested on form right now, I will give
you form on the next newsletter, we just want content here.

    1. In one line tell your prospect what is the benefit he/she is
going to get out of visiting your page, this is a attention grabbing statement.

    2. Create a Main Headline. You want to summarize the benefit you just listed on the statement above. Think Main Headline like the ones you see on the newspapers.

    3. Create an introductory paragraph. You are introducing them to the rest of your page with this statement.

    4. Create a subhead line, that involves the prospect with your
    headline.

    5. Bullet points, Follow the Sub-headline with a list the benefits the prospect is going to get from using your product or from joining your opportunity.

(you can repeat step 4 and 5 several times if you like, see sample template)

    6. Gather some testimonials, 1or 2 is a good number. Make the
testimonials short 3 to 5 sentences. You can also use video here.

    7. Summarize the benefits again on one or two sentences

    8. Call to action. Tell your prospect what he must do next.

Landing pages don’t have to be complicated as a matter of fact if
they are too busy they yield poor results.

Visit my website , or if you would like you can download a template,
to see what I am talking about.

Now you got your homework, the next time I am going to give you some more tips on the design of an effective Landing page.

But you need to start thinking about your content.

Until then, if you have any questions let me know.

Remember, I am here to help you in the road to becoming the leader
that you want to be, let me know how I can be of assistance.

Home Based Businesses Built with Web 2.0 Technology, Real or Hype?

In this article you are going to learn how to build your home base business using the Web 2.0, the New School Technology of the Internet. You are going to learn how outdated marketing techniques, that spelled failure for so many Network Marketers and home based business owners, are no longer going to hold you back. You are going to learn how new school marketing techniques like “Attraction Marketing” offer value to your prospects, positioning you as a professional and a leader that they will want to follow. With Web 2.0 you will get the respect and prestige that comes with being a business owner and an entrepreneur.

What is the New School Technology Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is a term describing changing technologies of the World Wide Web that enhance creativity, information sharing and collaboration. The Web 2.0 has lead to the development and evolution of web-based communities such as social-networking sites, video sharing sites, wikis, blogs, and Folksonomy (the use of keywords to create and categorize content). These technologies have open the doors to people like you all around the world, to easily communicate and gather information with out having to be a Techie (a person who displays a great interest in technology, particularly computers)

Old School Marketing Technique users are doomed to failure.

Before the Web 2.0 Technologies the home based business owner, and the network marketer were not able to compete with big corporations in the marketing arena. While the big corporations had the capital to mount large marketing campaigns whether in print, radio or television, you the home based business owner was left with ineffective and out dated marketing techniques like:

    • Flyers
    • Mail outs
    • Posters
    • Cold Calling

The worst ones used by the network marketers:

    •   The “3 foot rule”
    •   Home parties
    •   Opportunity meetings
    •   Antagonizing friends and family to join or buy
    •   And other “street hustling” techniques…

Today most people after 30+ years of being subjected to deceiving and high-pressure techniques, have wised up. All you are going to get using these techniques is frustration, and rejection.

Remember, no one likes to be sold anything, but people love to buy.

With the new School technology, you display your wares to the masses in a non-threatening, or confrontational manner. As they become interested they will contact you. Here is why it works:

    •  People seek expertise.
    •  Information is the thing that people are seeking for on the Internet
    • You provide good information and more people are going to seek you.
    • By giving information to a larger audience you’ll insure that your message reaches those that have a need for what you have to offer.
    • Valuable information about your product, opportunity, or service without pitching a sale, gains you the respect and trust of your audience.
    • You have provided them with useful information in the past, and they will seek you, when they are ready to buy,
    • Prospects will be calling you to buy from you,or join your business. you can say good by to the cold calls, the rejection, and the ridicule from your friends and relatives

The Web 2.0 provides a forum that allows you to do all of the above.

I want you to realize that, you are going to invest more time than money:

    • You going to learn the ropes of the social-networking sites.
    • You are going to learn new skills like Copy Writing, and Search Engine Optimizing (SEO).
    • You are going to invest the time it takes to promote your content on the Social-bookmarking sites. But once that is done, the hard work is over, and the fine-tuning begins. But, way before you get to the fine-tuning stage, you are going begin to see the monetary rewards for your efforts.

Do you want to know more?
